If you bleed the country dry with two immensely expensive foreign wars to guard access to oil, then everything else domestically gets cut including PUBLIC SAFETY. On the other hand, the Chinese are going round the world cutting their own oil deals. In the end, I believe we will find that the Chinese have done very well, since we have made the WORLD into our enemies, and nobody likes doing business with an enemy. But Bush and his friends have commandeered the Nation's resources to look after THEIR OWN PERSONAL INTERESTS, and I suppose if I were one of them I would look at the whole operation rather differently. When you have an Administration made up almost entirely of OIL-MEN isn't it pretty obvious, actually? Namaste! Jim
