Ray, I figure the fed is printing us bucks as quick as they can since Katrina..And the us buck is showing the effects..big slide in the usd last few days..watching the markets, one would think the storm was a good thing for the economy, some still talking 4% gdp..on another note, diesel is finally a bit cheaper than unleaded reg in some places here, as it should be..$3.07 gas/$2.91 diesel(I get 33% better mileage with diesel vs. gas)..still no word on my new truck build and delivery dates..One would think they would be getting off the pot, as I continue to rack up miles on the 'o4 they are taking back(and we agreed on no mileage deductions)...My guess, I'll get a call it's in the first day they salt the roads! <lol>

PS: I am willing to have some of my tax dollars go to helping the victims of Katrina. I am not willing for it to be used to rebuild in a flood zone though. The unpreparedness for a hurricane strike/levee break in the New Orleans area absolutely amazes me, talk about denial. One would have thought solid emegenecy plans would have been in place for a levee break.
