Even if whipped, as the President suggested the other day, and even if the terrorists control the ground, as suggested by Dubya as well, we would still control the air and could bomb any oil shipments by the terrorists.

The point of Dubya's speech was to instill fear, and had very little to do with reality of the terrorists controlling the oil.

They can't control the oil, unless we let them is the point. We don't need any boots on the ground to keep the oil from flowing in Iraq. If the terrorists were to get control of the oil fields, as Bush suggests, then they would never be able to get a drop of it out.

The whole thing is a joke, especially when you consider how much Saudi oil money goes to the terrorists.
