BSM, Yes, it has been up for 3rd day on a roll with significantly expanding volumes !!! The move apparently started after it announced that the current issue of CANCER (104:763-770, 2005), has published the results that further validate the progress of its "tri-modality" or "super therapy" for treating Ca.using a combination of radiation, chemotherapy and treatments with BSM's systems designed to increase the effectiveness of both radiation and chemotherapy in addition to killing cancer directly. Researchers at Duke,and in Europe reported on 68 patients with advanced cervical Ca. 90% had a complete remission. BSM uses microwave to increase the temperature of canceroues tissue and the hyperthermia makes the tumor more sensitive to radiation and chemotherapy. Today the stock has been up more than 27% Its intraday H at 1.10PM was 9.47 The initial upgap was closed at 9.40AM and it seems to have intraday support at the 7.65 level. bigcharts.marketwatch.com On the 1stQ the revenues were lower than in 2004 and the loss increased to $0.03/shr from $0.01/shr, but on the 2ndQ revenues were up 67% to $0.72M and earnings were on the black at $0.04/shr vs. a loss of $0.01/shr in 2004. It has not reported the results for the 3rQ (May) as yet, but they will probably compare favorably with the revenues of $0.43M and loss of $0.02/shr in 2004. BSM reportedly has around $0.68 in cash/shr and no significant LTD. BSM Started with a small upgap this morning and was doing well until it had an intraday double top at 10.54-10.55AM at the 5.78 level. Since then it has come down to the 5.12 level, but it hasn't closed its opening upgap.<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com It announced its plans to enter the Japanese market.(BSD has already established a distributor in China, and has obtained regulatory approval for saling its BSD-2000 in China.) Today's volume has remained relatively low (around 265,300 at present.)
