the whole insurance thing is a RACKET anyway...they redline areas of risk....they jack up the premiums so no one can afford it instead of having FAIR rates that MANY could afford....
that IS what insurance is supposed to do....SPREAD THE RISK....
but the companies here only want to CHERRY PICK the monies and leave us all holding the bag

Don't know much about flood insurance. Was it required in new Orleans?
