Ted, that's a load of bull. It is not clear to me at all that the levees would have been fixed had we not gone into Iraq or had we not lowered taxes. It isn't even clear to me whether anyone knew the levees had to be fixed in the first place. What is clear to me is that second-guessing is all too common when it comes to ABB. Talk about turning this disaster into a partisan affair. You're a fool. You know very little other than what your bible tells you. You lack a rudimentary sophistication and understanding of how the world works. It should have been obvious to you that there had to be cuts somewhere to pay for a war and tax cuts during a recession. But instead, you blocked any knowledge of that from your head. Now that the chickens have come home to roost, something many of us warned you about for a long time but which you chose to ignore, you are all indignant. Sorry, dude, you are the one that's wrong. You have been wrong for a long time. Funds for the war were taken from improvements to the levees and other important projects. Instead, your comrades in Congress chose to fund a $200 million bridge in Alaska. For years, Congress has been warned that the levees were only good up to a Cat. 3 storm. For theirs and your folly, we will all pay a price for it........with the citizens of NO suffering the most. Since empathy is not in your vocabulary, I don't expect you to understand. For you, all it can be is ABB. What childish nonsense spoken by someone who has the brain to know better......you are pathetic! ted
