It really does seem like the third world down there. Come on........how difficult is it to learn basic English?

The powers that be in these areas should be ashamed. It seems that there is no initiative for anything other than power for the bosses......shelter, food, water govt assistance and having a good time.....sometimes at the expense of others......for the masses and to hell with education.
Middle class white suburbia didn't know, but they are learning. Not that anything will be done about it.

cnn quoting slate.. trying to make this into a race issue.

slow response because they are poor blacks.

Wolfe and cnn at their best. He has spent most of afternoon taking shots at response times, security, where is national guard. someone must answer for this!

sure there is slow response , but there is also a lot of good being done. at least fox gives you a mix. one headtalker on 10 highway for four days saying where is the food and water for these people? and then showing rescues... today on cnn all you got was negative reporting everytime i flipped over to cnn.
oh, he also quoted manchester n.h. union leader? paper and nytimes of being critical to response.
