I held ENER about 5 years ago and it wasn't moving....should
have kept it as a long term hold. Great innovative company.
Agree with your idea about licensed NIMH battery companies...
you might also consider manufacturers of the electric drive motors and small gas motors/generators in hybrids too.

Ener stock has had a nice move, tho a good portion of the move may be attributed to the growing revenue of its wholly owned sub, Unisolar, a thin-film pv that is gaining acceptance in commercial roofing. Ener is a great alt energy play, besides nimh batteries and solar pv, it has a regenerative fuel cell and hydrogen storage technologies. All this plus the real kicker, its oum chip technology, that potentially could be worth more than all the other parts of the company.
