The next hurdle imo is 231 area. If that goes these levels may not be seen again for a long long time.

m,

It's possible the gaps are breakaway...the one I'm looking at is around XAU 82....after the test of the '04 low....and the result of a gap fill from '04, that was left for a long time....so like I said to Tom...who the F knows...just playing it tight, but gonna enjoy it while there's upside....will trade out of the little NG plays at the daily top...even if it's tomorrow <g>.....this whole New Orleans thing is an interesting study of a live disaster drill, run by FEMA and Hland Security...so far...they get an F...but it's the reaction of the people that I watch...looting, guns are very desirable, absolute frustration, the daily buildup of tension...an explosive situation...could happen in any city, due to any number of reasons, from an earthquake to a terrorist attack...keep watching the people...and plan ahead based on these observations.

Cheers,

Bert
