I agree... and it's one thing after another.

Somewhere, in some post 10,000 posts ago, I said something like "the second worst thing about Bush is that he is a just plain old bad administrator". He doesn't know how to run government as an effective "business" that gets results.

It's the same old shit that we talked about on this thread and on the (now dead- RIP) Citizens thread... pragmatism v. ideology. We've been blessed in this country forever with Presidents that once they got in office made pragmatic decisions... decisions that were (mostly) best for the people. Regardless of the political rhetoric that got them elected... they rose to the level of their office and that responsibility to the people of the country. How could anyone that got elected President of this wonderful country do otherwise?

Not Bush... he is still pure ideology. It doesn't matter what happens in Iraq or New Orleans or to the middle class and certainly not to the lower classes in New Orleans...
