A little sensitivity for the dead and suffering would be fine, too....There'll be plenty of opportunity to discuss rebuilding (or not) later

fine, except the tens of thousands who have been displaced by hurricane katrina and the levee failures will need some place to live besides hotels and sports stadiums....within a reasonable amount of time decisions have to be made as to WHERE the funds are going be allocated to rebuild the homes and businesses....and as you can see there are major infrastructure failures that need to be addressed first

it may just be smarter to have those whose homes have been destroyed to rebuild in other locations, instead of a location that is increasingly becoming more and more vulnerable to catastrophic destruction caused by hurricanes
