It's amazing they were able to accurately predict the disasters. I'm impressed.

What's unfortunate, is how we didn't plan ahead.

RE: "Which do you think had the highest priority?"

I would have to look at their data to know, but the highest priority would be a formulistic decision - whichever predicts the most deaths multiplied by the highest chance of occurring combined with the hightest economic impact.

I would have dealt with the terrorism threat differently, in a less costly way - by rebuilding Palistine, toning down support of settlements, and installing democratic influences in Africa, SE Asia and Middle East through funding of initiatives at a fraction of the cost of the Iraq war. I actually think Africa is a bigger worry for the USA than Middle East, but that's a futuristic perspective. I also would have demanded tighter IP theft enforcement out of foreign countries, and would have prosecuted the foreign art students (that were actually scientists) rather than deporting them as the USA govt did, because IP theft will negatively impact both our economy and security. I prefer to be preventive rather than reactive. I would have also overhauled our govt legislature so that decisions are brought down to the level of each individual person by their vote (similar to what Calif governor did with stem cell research, but through an inexpensive electronic e-vote system rather than costly ballot voting).
