The left hand breach is the 17th Street Canal, the center is the London Avenue Canal, and the right hand one is the Inner Harbor Navigational Canal, in case you want to use google earth.

The breaches are in the concrete flood walls -- approximately 300 ft long breach at the 17th Street Canal, and 400 ft long breach at the London Avenue Canal. Inner Harbor Navigational Canal said not to be a problem any longer.

I don't see how they can "plug" these in a relatively short time except with barges, pile drivers, pilings, and steel walls.
