Bushies have been congratulating themselves on a job well done all day. First Bush listing all thew wonderful things he has coming to the disaster victims. Frist telling us to boil water and wash our hands. FEMA and HS heads listing big responses. But in actuality the people who need help most haven't seen a goddamn thing from these officials. And within days, thousands more of them will be dead. We could have 10,000 people dead from this disaster, most of which could have been avoided if anyone had been on the ball instead of on vacation and asleep at the wheel.

Also, the Iraq War has directly impacted this disaster, making it much worse than it had to be. In fact the NO flooding itself might not have happened if not for the war and Bush slashing the levee building budget.
