Your expectations are so very low for Republican Presidents. Since things are so good, please explain how things could be worse.

Shep Smith was irate at the lack of "government response" as these people came up out of the projects -- dehydrated, hungry, wet. But the reality is that given the circumstances, the emergency response has been impressive.

Read what you wrote. You are so brainwashed even when you admit something is bad with this gov't, you then proceed to sugarcoat it. Read what you wrote above......its all there.

The disaster is a disaster beyond words. To date, the response is a disaster as well. So many people are angry that that it is forcing FEMA to change and get more responsive. Hopefully, things will be calmed down some by next week.

In the meantime, you told us your son's IQ. Per usual, that was to let us know that the acorn did not fall the tree. However, there is such a thing as book smart and street stupid. People who are street stupid can only deal with tangible facts, not with emotions and random behavior.

They just announced breaking news that the Astrodome is full. The dome only has five thousand of the 24K people who were coming from the Superdome. Many buses that were on their way to the Astrodome have had to be diverted to other cities with no clear idea as to what to do with these people. Meanwhile the remaining people at the Superdome of which there are many are stuck there for the indefinite future. I am in shock. This is gross incompetency at the highest level. It further mocks your view of a "swift and sure footed" response.
