Notice Bushies are trying to blame the looters. Only many of the looters I see on TV are poor desperate people grabbing food and something to drink, for survival. Even clothing is for survival. Or stealing a car is survival. How many of us would not resort to looting or fighting for a car if our lives depended on it? You'd be a fool not to grab whatever you could to survive. And since when are Bushies against people carrying guns?

And who cares if they steal a TV? All that stuff is going to be water-damaged and useless anyway. The whole city could be one big death zone in a matter of days. A total write-off. All because the levees were not bolstered and there was no rapid response team ready, plus half the resources needed were in Iraq. Finally after three days it's starting to trickle in. But it's only a trickle.
