stillholding, There are many black citizens that have worked their way to middle class living, and some are high up in the corporate world, with salaries to match, and I am sure they feel both shame, and pity, for those in NO. It has to be a terrible, heart felt, concern for them.

The media will not say anything that can be deemed to be not politically correct, so the absence of any mention of race in NO, and it is not the racial difference that is the problem. The people that loot, and riot in the streets, are a product of the American welfare system. We are in the third, or fourth, welfare generation where people will not, and do not have to, work at a job. They have been sucking the government teat, and have no ambition to do otherwise. Without a shred of ambition, a man will fail in life.
