Don't be confused. A swift, surefooted response does not imply that the crisis isn't huge.


The crisis? This has nothing to do with the crisis and has everything to do with logistics. They were planning to try and put 24K people into a space that can hold only 5K. No one knew that fact 24 hours ago....even five hours ago. What's happening to the people who are on the buses now.......its past midnite in Houston? What's going to happen to the people who are still in the Superdome in NO? This is the same failure of logistics; the same failure of execution that we witnessed in Iraq. I grow more worried by the moment.

This time its not the Iraqis who are getting screwed over but Americans. I can not believe they could make this big a mistake. Its frightening.
