Houston is being a wonderful host to us, I cannot tell you how many expressions of concern and kind gestures I have gotten in the last few days. I hope the folks in the AstroDome appreciate what has been done for them and don't do the things they were doing in NO.

This reminds me of the Mariel boatlift, with a lot of very bad apples among the good ones.

I thought they were going to house about 24,000 people. Maybe that many have arrived but the story told on TV sounds different.
