Hard to say. Everybody thinks these things are being taken care of by someone else. 50,000 people cannot live in a forum with a leaky roof and no sanitation for long. But someone thought, well someone is on top of it. Sure. No phones. No radios. News is sparse, fluff. How do they know. Who is in control?

Chaos is catching.

If it were possible they should ship people out on boats. Getting them out by bus and air is taking too long. Places to put them is a problem too. That has to be co-ordinated in advance. You cannot just pick people up and drop them at chains of Hotel 6's on a milk run. It ain't that easy. 1879 bus trips for 75K people, assuming. Lotta busses. Most likely they can get 250 individual transports which gives them a 250 mile drop radius. That takes two days to load and drop, if everybody is spry and does not need special handling. Most likely 5 to 7 days and 1200 medical personnel to assist.

Cholera and dysentery is likely to hit soon.

Ahhh...where is C.D. Howe when you need him?
