And we are a nation of children when it comes to waiting. I said exactly the same thing at one of the meetings I went to today. The Hurricane hit on Monday morning, by late Monday night we thought maybe the press had over-hyped the situation..Tuesday morning we wake up and find the levees had flooded everything, adding to an already huge mess. It is now about 62 hours from Tuesday morning when things went from worse to unbelievable, but we didn't even know until Tuesday night any extent of the damage. And for that matter, we still don't. Think about 62 hours, and then think what some of the folks who claim to be Americans have said. The ones who are taking all the cheap shots are the very ones who won't and don't, lift a single finger to help, even if they could. Helen Thomas for instance. And many others who should know better.
