exactly, this is not race. race is slate and cnn trying to start more problems rather than address an emergency situation.

the city is mostly black, if it was white it would be white gangs

a beautiful black school teacher was on cnn last night and she didn't give into the race planted question by cnn. rather she ignored it. She discussed how difficult it was , the situation in the house with the water rising, the rescue , the wonderful people who came to assist. If was the positive things she talked about not the last three days of hell. never did she jump into; this is a black thing , that is why the response was so slow. (remember hundreds of thousands choice to ride out the storm and it was not financial , perhaps in some cases and in some medical problems but majority chose to stay)

What a far and immoral reach slate and cnn goes for reader and cable attention. Anytime you start a race thing you steer up the pot on those who want to believe it. for proof look at the thousands of emails cnn got ready to jump on race situation.

i found it an insult. I also think it is insult to those responders who are risking their lives to say they were slow to respond. We have no idea of the situation on the ground in the city.

I look forward down the road for fair and balance performance review of the rescue of all those people on the Gulf Coast. In the meantime we should stay in the present and do everything we can to recover.

frankw, It was not my intent to disrespect the black people, but said what I did, because people like Jackson, and Sharpton, are making a big noise about the black citizens not getting relief. No body is getting relief, so why should the try to make race a factor?

New Orleans is unique in it's ethnicity. Before political correctness, they called them selves blacks, mulattos, quadroons, and octaroons, to indicate the percentage of white blood they had, or visa versa. And, the people of all the races in the city, had come together with mutual respect for each other.

What I meant, is that race is not an issue in NO, and the troublemakers should keep their mouthes shut. There, probably, are white people and hispanics that are also looting, but no one is making an issue of it. I feel for all of the people of NO regardless of race or creed, but cannot condone looting, or rioting to further damage what nature has already done.
