Well of course they'd protect the convention center. That's where the tourists go. Or would go, if there was a city to go to. Too bad nobody has a moment's thought for the tourists who are starving to death in the hotels. Crazy. On the other hand, if they're in the Convention Center, they're close enough to the Mississippi River levee to walk there and start walking out of there.
