I have a problem with cheap people, always had. In particular I find it alarming when people treat waiters badly and under tip, for sure a great thermometer of such people's general attitude. My wife told me that the very first thing she paid attention to, when I invited her to our first dinner back in 1974, was exactly how I treated those waiting our table. And how I tipped. Learned it all from a great uncle who taught me many things before passing away much too early. He had no family and my parents had no time. Taro
