After seeing this article yesterday, I was even more glad that I moved my Schwab account assets to VG Brokerage and Fidelity. Fido and VG Brokerage are not following the rest of the discount brokers in chiseling on the money market rates.

Fido gave me $100 to open the account, which more than paid for Schwab's $95 account close-out fee. This Schwab fee really annoyed me - I had opened the account in 1982, the fee did not exist when I signed the Schwab One application.

FruFox writes "Australian scientists have created mice which can regenerate absolutely any tissue except for the tissues of the brain. Heart, lungs, entire limbs, you name it. This is the first time this has been seen in mammals. The potential implications are positively mammoth. I thought this warranted attention. :)"
