Pat Buchanon is an "America First" conservative, who doesn't like foreign entanglements. Unlike the neocon breed, he's a combat veteran. He's still a certifiable nutburger about most things, but has some sense about the war. And I would vote for him over Bush any day, if they were the only two choices.

If this were Japan, Bush would have resigned three times already, because in that country leaders accept responsibility for disasters happening on their watch.

LBJ stepped down when he blew it in Vietnam. Bush should do the same now.
