Well sure, Americans & the US are one of the first to help in a crisis, and when we could use help, even if it is moral support, we get sh*t... The message prolly is that we as a nation will be a little less willing to help some of our stuck up Euro pals in the future when they have problems. As for Chavez, Jesse Jackson was down there licking his boots last week, working in some minor 'help' for the poor, so he (Chavez) is now hip on how to milk the US press. That is all this is, a pr opp.
