Most of this is the damn Homeland Security BS set up that Bush has instituted....FEMA is for natural disasters....the BS 'chain of command' that no longer has FEMA reporting as a cabinet to the President has created this mind boggling debacle and the BROWN CLOWN in charge should be FIRED TODAY....

You are wrong and rude with a predilection to blame Republicans beyond reason. I don't happen to like them myself for many reasons, yet without a clue, you label and box me as their wild-eyed defender, which I am not. You're a silly ass for that. I'm realistic...this was unprecedented...government is virtually always inadequate, and the blame for this reality spreads all around, and largely to the people of this country who hold a much too high regard for the ability of Government to this day. This may likely describe you, but as someone who contributed already, you hopefully are part of the solution provided by the people, and the effort of the people in this free market country, has been and will be the biggest part of the solution, IMHO.
