I-10 Triage Something going on ahead. Traffic slows to rubberneck. I slow down too. People in uniforms sorting bodies. Dead here, dying there, wounded over there. Someone waves me through. I am late. Work in Big Easy is hot and stuffy but always there is music afterward.
