I wanted to see if there had been any change in her perspective over the last couple years. The fundamental disagreement still appears to be that she considers people to not be real if they use a nick name. She suggested to me that she could be a bot. But a bot could not derive an emotional reaction from reading a post and inflect the response with an emotionalised character. A bot would be easy to identify with a minimum of effort. As well...it is illegal here. Ionesco has every right to her rather unique perspective on the people who interact here through the written word (and often through emails, phones, etc.). But she seems to be endeavoring to maintain an illusion that all these people are fictional characters. If I'm wrong about that perception, she may correct me, and I apologise in advance. But that is what I take from our many interchanges.
