The religion that I was raised in, requires the families to have six months supply of food. After living in Ca for so many years with earthquake kits with many gallons of water stored in the garage I have maintained that approach. Maybe others should do the same. Yah never know. If you can't take care of yourself, you are foolish to think that others will look after you. Everyone expects to damn much out of the government. Even though I am not a church going man any longer, I also feel that God will help those that try to help themselves. I have been in three riots, Newark, Los Angeles twice. I was in eastern Idaho after the Ririe damn broke. The people in Idaho performed in a magnificent manner. I have personally seen what lawless animals men can become. It is all a game of trying to take from the haves what the havenots feel should be theirs. We have a family disaster plan. Life after a California earthquake or fire makes a plan a must.
