I can't believe that everyone isn't disgusted with the total lack of urgency or passion on the part of the government in dealing with this. Yes I hold many responsible including Bush who failed as a leader here. And I am sickened by the neocons who think that killing will is the answer again. Aren't they sick of death yet?

Too much restraint too IMO. I am against the death penalty, but in this situation you cannot let the looters take over as happened in the days immediately following the storm.

People roaming the streets with guns who fire at resue personnel should be shot and killed. No questions and no apologies. People elsewhere are dying because forces need to deal with these lowlife scum.

Without order there is chaos, and in chaos how can one expect relief to arrive?
