And the cost has been huge. It's not the disaster people, the FEMA "old hands" are complaining as well. As CJ said, FEMA has been gutted, and political cronies, rather than competent professionals, have been put in charge. You multiply that by the lack of funds to fix the levee system, and it's criminal misconduct. When I say the disaster people, I mean FEMA. BTW another gas story.......this one out of Covington, LA. Gas station has no gas but has been promised a delivery sometime in the morning today. A woman is waiting in line to get gas. The delivery finally arrives......a little late. The clincher.......there are two lines leaving each side of the gas station that each go 4-5 miles. Now that's a gas station story.
