forgot what state you are located in but mobil stations may not be xonmobil a number of stations were sold off ten years ago during the merger because of so many stations in one state by law they had to rid of one group or the other.

i know in new jersey and pa they have since changed owners a few times since the original sale. from an outfit in ct. to circle k. to lukoil .. now stations are dropping the mobil name as the ten year contract to carry mobil in order not to lose customers with the brand sale has been completed.

all we can go by is xon is selling below wholesale prices in effort to try to keep prices down. however they have no control over independent dealers and how they price , only suggest.
