Mr. Bush does seem to have a hard time understanding the need for quick reaction to crisis. This one could be seen days ahead...I remember receiving an e-mail from a friend in Pensacola last week who explained to me many days in advance of landfall why Katrina was probably going to be different than Ivan, et al. Direction, geography, time of year.....she had it nailed. Many in the Southeast saw it. And many outside the Southeast.
