The August 31 letter pretty much backed up everything Citizen Spook has been saying - but two important caveats. The first is that Ruppert, himself, was very careful to back away from "indictments" - as promoted widely on the internet (by several who claim to be "in the know"). The other was the lack of knowledge of the Codes that Citizen Spook has researched so thoroughly. I make no claim to understanding the ins and outs of law, but his case seemed well founded, at least to this uneducated reader. Ruppert's cohort who wrote the investigative piece on Fitzgerald's Grand Jury probe basically backed up the info we all have available to us - but with some very interesting details concerning how the Niger "Yellow Cake" game was played, who played it, who ordered it and a circular - self-fulfilling "proof" - hinting that Cheney was behind it all. Heavy stuff, and nothing to write home about until the "facts are in." There are intrigues within intrigues, and many connections to Iran-a-scam. Lots of lines of corruption that, if followed, lead to yet deeper levels of corruption. It appears that the term "conspiracy theory" is, itself, a form of redirection. Fitzgerald has his work cut out for him. God Bless him and keep him safe, for our nation may depend on his perseverance and fortitude... and little else. All the screams and cries of the citizens will likely come to little against a neocon machine dedicated to obtaining and holding power at all costs. Those who (all over Kos, right now) are proclaiming an end to the corrupt Republican political machine are simply ignorant of the depths (and many years) that machine goes... into our televisions, our buying habits, our investment vehicles - the very way we think of our lives... They do not know. But, likely Fitzgerald does, increasingly. This is a person worth keeping a careful eye on. And, a person who other citizens should be aware of. Because there is some safety in numbers... especially if the others are really watching your back. Let us keep him in the spotlight. illyia
