"......while a tsunami was on its way and the president was out of the country........" Well, duh. They wait for further orders. Like with New Orleans. Are you dense or what? At one point today when Bush was walking around.......he suddenly moaned: "This is terrible......you have to see it to believe it!" It made me wonder......did he not believe it before today? Is that what was going on with Chertnoff with his "exceptional response" comment and Brown with his the-recovery-is-going-well speech? Have they too bought into the rural myth that the mainstream media does not tell the truth? How do you account for three leaders directly tied to an event not knowing what was happening with that event?
