It's time for the John Kerrys and the John Warners of the Senate to take action...They need to realize that the Senate is supposed to act as a Board of Directors for our country...How is the CEO doing...? Who will hold Bush and his team accountable...? We can't wait much longer.

<<...I started wondering what Clinton might be up to a few months ago when he appeared on the David Letterman Show and (on being questioned by Letterman as to what he thought about it) he denied that he had heard of the Downing Street Memo.

If he had any guts or integrity, he would have announced that he is running HIS OWN fund-raising campaign and both of the Bushs could go toot.

Both of the Clinton's have been behaving so oddly. It is thought they are trying to redeem themselves with Faux-newz-r-us viewers (who will always hate them no matter what they do), while sticking their thumbs in the eyes of people who continued to support them through all of their various "troubles."

If they think they can get away with supporting the Iraq war and still get a lot of support at the grass roots level, they are sadly wrong. Every Democrat I know is FED UP with them, and we live in a fairly conservative rural area, not in some university community that is a hotbed of liberal thinking (like those places we yearn to return to).

I would understand if even GHWB wanted nothing to do with his wastrel son. Afterall, he is the one who should have known that GWB was not morally, intellectually, or professionally equipped to be president and he still thrust him upon the voting public by allowing him to use the family name to bamboozle the voters.

I would love a Greek tragedy solution (sorry Ariana)...one that involved the man who brought the incompetent son into power considering it his own responsibility to strip away the son's ill-gotten power.

But I'm not betting the farm that it will ever happen...>>
