As you well know, the War against Terrorism is a myth designed to facilitate US aggression wherever, whenever and against anyone they please. What wasn't taken into account were the escalating and continuing costs of this war, its complete lack of benefit to anyone except the military-industrial-complex, Israel and "big oil", and its unexpected consequences -- of which the lack of preparedness at New Orleans was merely one example. The insurgency in Iraq was another. The forthcoming Islamic government in Iraq yet a third. And there will, of course, be many more.
