No, nobody ever forgets bush's words. Nobody will forget his inaction and incompetence and ineffectiveness that blew this one. Nobody will forget what bush and his beefed up emergency preparedness plans did to aid in his plea made while on vacation for mandatory evecuation?

FEMA warned Bush a New Orleans flood would be the biggest disaster in our country and in 2003-2004 Bush cut funding by more than 80% for a crucial levee pump project which could have stopped the flooding. The excuse used was that the funds were needed for Iraq, and also the heavy equipment and engineers. But even over in Iraq, with all that money and manpower which we need back home, Bush has failed miserably. So where have Bush succeeded? Not on the homefront, not in Iraq, not fiscally, not with health care, not against terrorism, not when warned about 9-11 type attacks before 9-11. Well we do have a lot of Walmart type jobs, but fewer and fewer jobs people can actually raise a family on. Good news for Bushies though, Katrina is resulting in more Bushie profiteering. The oil companies are raking in cash hand over fist and Halliburtoin quickly nailed a 500 million no-bid contract. Cheney has not been seen in weeks but is no doubt pleased. In fact he probably brokered the deal. I notice Bushies are now busy blaming the black victims of the flooding for the flood. Bushies are calling the poor blacks and the NO police force all kinds of names. The word "looting" is used a lot though those people literally had nothing for 3-4 days and everyone agrees stealing food-water-medicine etc. was the right thing to do. But photo captions of white people with looted food called it "after finding food" and blacks "after looting food". It bis a racist blame game, but the biggest looters are the Bushie oil companies and war profiteers these days. Especially whomever got the money needed for the New Orleans levees.
