Had a New Orleans-like disaster hit the Hispanic communities in the southwestern US, we would all (except, probably, O'Reilly) be praising them for both individual and collective heroism in the wake of the damage and danger.

Instead we watch 2/3 black New Orleans spending as much time mouthing off and insulting the rescue efforts as helping each other.

Or maybe that whole thing is just a despicable media fart...

The WTC tragedy was punctuated by COURAGE from police, firemen, and individual heros who stepped forward, without being asked-or "assured of funding"-from a far away federal government.

New Orleans is punctuated by people screaming obscenities at arriving rescue personnel, while their "mayor" screams about Bush and the government through a media megaphone...
