I think Karl Rove really blew this one.

Imagine what an image it would have been if Bush had put his plane down and was seen talking to the shell-shocked residents of NO right after the disaster happened.

Bush would have seemed a man of action.

I think Bush was left to his own devices though. All that occurred to him was to fly over the city then go back to Washington and ride his bike. It wasn't until Thursday when the desperate images were coming out of NO that it occurred to Bush that he hadn't done anything.

Beef, this thread is full of people who have no common sense. They see things one way. They are extremely rude. I stumbled across it to voice my displeasure on the Federal Governments reaction to the disaster. I was called a lot of names. No valid discussion. I finally found a reason to use the ignore function.
I have two words that are extremely relevant (lacking) to the disaster and this thread.
COMMON SENSE!!
