New Orleans Levee system: Its what that haunts every official-- what is said and what happens-- that was just regular ole fashion brown nosing that now becomes a black mark in service..... in a very corrupt town with look the other way attitude... now crying for help after it faltered. (been there, worked there glad I aint there) Been looking at King County (Seattle)emergency -- fun stuff-- 3 days max for shelters- still bickering what to do and how and the head writing WA Post editorials about how lousy his office is and what the direction it is to take. And yet Mr.Holdeman (topdog) writes in his first public notice that PERSONL RESPONSIBILITY is #1... without it everything breaks down-- sortof like New Orleans when there is looting instead of helping and cops quitting and everyone expects a hand out......pathetic. Have you read Lou Dobbs transcript yesterday about who should be responsible in leadership... quite good and telling-- blame it on those away and not those who had immediate control--ie the BLACK mayor thr BLACK govt city structure who failed the BLACK "refugees" that the BLACK caucus is bitching about. (typical liberal news media coverage that forgets about the majority of citizens of every color who heeded the warnings and now who probably have to pay for their extended stay for themselves while the focus is on the perils of those who could not or would not leave. Karl Rove has it too easy to show the ineptness of the gov't of Louisanna -- read Democrat- if he so desired-- shoot listen to those who will never go back.... that was a stupid comment. Anyways Yahoo Finance says you live in the safest area in the US? How do like that.... a damn volcanic island is the safest.
