More prejudice; you've bought the "liberal image" thing hook line and sinker. You don't see me on characterizing conservatives with some blanket image. It's bull shit, and if you don't know it you should. I just watched them dropping food and water from helicopters to people in isolated areas of NO. I have to say that I think the people who stayed in their homes were smarter than those who went to the Superdome. They seem to be in better shape psychologically than the ones who camped out at the dome. And everyone gave the copter a sign of appreciation for the food and water. And a kind of metaphor for this hellish week.....two reporters saw a small dog on the side of the freeway bridge as they were driving. So they stopped to give the dog some water. As they approached, the dog went nuts and started barking. But it wasn't the kind of bark that is defensive but the one they give out when they are in great pain. Since the dog was not physically hurt, the pain had to be psychological. Imagine an animal not having a clue what has happened but knowing that his life is in jeopardy. With so many people in trouble, there isn't much left over to worry about a dog and that's just the way it is right now. ted
