San Diego real estate update:

It appears that August closings came in at 3404 so far (I assume there will be a few more reported next week), vs 3552 July 05 and 3820 Aug 04.

I noticed something interesting regarding "pendings" for August, especially the last few days. It came in at 3521 for the month but the number actually went DOWN as I was updating it.

There are only two reasons why this number would go down. First, escrows closed in less than 30 days. In other words, the escrows that were opened in the beginning of the month is already closed. Second, CANCELLATIONS.
