We agree on that.

>> There is many things wrong with religion Sidney. <<

with the exception of one. the pure and undefiled Holy Orthodox Church.

>> The church has lost it's way by fornicating with non believers. <<

which 'church'? the thousands of heretical protestant churches or their stepmother, the heretical papist latin church?

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. --Matthew 16:18

if the 'church' has lost its way, then it has lost Christ. for Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen --Matthew 28:20

for someone to say that there is no true Church or that the Church has lost its Way is to suggest Christ to be a false prophet. (God forbid!)

perhaps in every 'church' you have experienced you cannot ascertain the Way or the Truth, but it sounds like you have never investigated Orthodox Christianty.

"orthodox" is a compound word from the greek "orthos" and "doxa".

"orthos" means straight, correct, true, right. as in an orthodontist which straightens or corrects your teeth.

"doxa" in greek means glory or praise or worship.

therefore orthodox means right, true, or correct worship.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)

Christ said that true worshippers shall and MUST worship God in spirit and in truth.

now if we claim that we cannot find the Church to worship God in spirit and in truth, once again, we are making Christ out to be a false prophet. God would not command us to do something, saying we MUST worship in truth, if we could not find, ascertain or discern that truth.
