You must be kidding...the mayor is elected. People choose that leader. You are a film producer. I am a shyster lawyer....neither you nor I should be head of FEMA because of our past experiences. Nothing happened till Friday. Nothing - just excuses like "we didn't know a crisis existed at the convention center". One of the few flights over the city since the disaster was Bush. You think he might of phoned someone at FEMA and let them know a whole city had been flooded out. Instead it looks like he put on his IPOD hopped on his bike and blissfully pedalled away. Relief should have been organized before the hurricane struck. I personally was following the story on my Treo while I was out and about. If I knew what was happening I should think Bush and his appointees at FEMA should have been able to figure what was happening.

The City of New Orleans offered aid to FEMA, but they got turned down. The Mayor was shocked about FEMA's slow response and refusal to take the city's help. FEMA dropped the ball. Chimp's appointee is a certified IDIOT. Chimp is an idiot for praising Brown. You're an idiot for apologizing for Chimp.
