That will give GDubya the opportunity to appoint another extremely well-qualified, strict constructionist - who won't suck up to the liberal lefty, baby-killing wacko's in this country, either.

I was very sorry to learn of his death last night. He was a good man, and this is probably a very inappropriate time for Pres. Bush to have to appoint a second justice before Roberts is even confirmed, all in the middle of this katrina cleanup which is going to take a lot of his attention.
I wonder if Bush might amend the Roberts nomination to make him Chief Justice and appoint a second person as justice? jdn
