Nonsense: One's life experience is the best way to determine if they are fit for a higher responsibility. Read up on Mr. Brown and see how even the people who worked with him on the horse commission said he was bullheaded and controversial. They pushed him out of that important job.

You and I can differ without throwing around names (why do the conservatives on this thread want to throw around names so "liberally"). I just don't want my safety in the hands of a man with no experience in disaster management. The President may have felt "Brownie" did a great job, but Newt Gringrich, Pat Buchannan, Trent Lott and a few others are not as kind.

Doesn't experience matter for anything?
