That senator is behaving as a childish person. I think we can expect better of our elected representatives, but if they persist the ballot box will provide the needed discipline.

As far as I know, President Bush has made no criticisms of any sheriff or local official. On the contrary, he has praised those who have provided leadership.

this the same blonde who was standing in front of every camera before , during and right after the storm and i haven't seen her on a new clip since.

I wondered what she should have been doing instead of standing in front of the camera , she appeared almost hourly.

Mary is, well, Mary...born to prominent political family and got a leg up in her political life thanks to her name and her dad's maneuvering and connections.

Her intelligence and wisdom has always, and I do mean always, been questioned by anyone who has met her or who has observed her over the years.

But I voted for her when she got her first term, which guarantees her a sinecure, because the GOP made the incredibly stupid mistake of running someone even worse, much worse, IMO, than Mary.

You will hear a lot of anger from La. politicians in the future because it plays well. Nagin might be the only one who is doing it sincerely; he's not nearly as bad as many think. He genuinely has tried to do something positive about the race problem, a refreshing thing. He also, and this is important, supported Jindal--yes, a black liberal Dem supported an Indian right wing GOP candidate because of Jindal's merits--during the Governor's race which Blanco won.

Blanco has never forgotten this and punishes NO every chance she gets. Dumb and vindictive, that is our gov.
